Pulls & handles come in a wide variety of sizes, require two mounting points, and can be positioned either horizontally or vertically. ![]() As for drawers, one knob can either be centered on the drawer or you can use two knobs spaced evenly on each end of the drawer. Whichever knob you choose, they are typically installed 2 ½ to 3 inches from the corner of a cabinet door. If your cabinetry has detailed paneling and your countertops are rounded, then choose hardware with softer, more ornate lines. If your countertops and cabinet doors have simple, clean lines, then choose the same for your hardware. However, it is important to take cues from the lines in your kitchen. Most often thought to be round or square, knobs come in a wide variety of other shapes too such as oval, t-knob, novelty and ornate.
